To an Orange County beach with Victoria O’Leary

This shoot has it all.. the little in between moments of love, the movement, the emotion, the feel, sunshine, film and beach.  Victoria O’Leary is a super talented Orange County family photographer and this is one of my favorite sessions from her. I love the movement and the interaction between the family.  She caught all this love in just a mini session. I find sometimes that a small amount of time forces a big window into the lives.

Shot on the beach in Orange County. It had been pouring rain only an hour earlier and most my clients had cancelled (this was a mini) – we waited the rain out a bit and sure enough the skies opened up and it was such a pretty day!! The girls really wanted nothing to do with me or my camera but mom & dad just went with it and we just played!! Love the little snippet in their lives we captured and I love that mom and dad both just went with the whole day! Rain or shine! Smiley or not! My ideal client!!

What’s your favorite part of this shoot?  For me, I absolutely love the shot of the two girls through the lifeguard stand. I love little weird things like that. But I also adore the mom twirling on the beach with her girl – movement is a big love of mine. And the  first shot with the two girls – their expressions are priceless.
