Lexa’s Photography: let’s go down to the lake

Being from Texas (and subsequently not around water often), I am a sucker for waterfront images like these from Lexa’s Photography. Add in an adorable couple and a precious pug, and you’ve got a great session. Thanks for sharing with us Lexa!

This session was shot on a Nikon D700 with 24-70mm and 50 1.8mm lens.

From Lexa:

“This couple was given my name by a mutual friend.  We hadn’t met before this day.  This lake is my favourite place to shoot before noon in the fall and winter months. It’s quiet, peaceful and absolutely beautiful.  Walking with my clients here gave me the opportunity to get to know them a little before, pulling out my camera.  When we finished at the lake we drove 5min down the hill and took the remaining photos at an abandoned government building.  I like this second location because of its colours and textures in the early afternoon light.

I honestly can’t say enough good things about this couple, they were so much fun to photograph, their little dog is a natural and they were on board for all of my suggestions.

I really had it all this day, my favourite locations, good light and fantastic subjects.”
