This family shoot made me laugh out loud and so made me say I wish I shot that!!  Seriously, that Lolita shot?  I LOVE that.  Todd Laffler’s mind works in creative and unique ways.  And the family portrait in Polaroid?  That would certainly be up BIG on my wall if this was my family.  I love that he shot this way and that the clients were all for it. Not one safe shot in the bunch.

I found Todd when I was looking at the Fearless Photographers site.  Its a place where Fearless Weddings Photographers post their portfolios and contests are held every so often.  I will admit that I am a Fearless Photographer (as in I’m up on that site) as well.  But I was trolling through the photographer’s listings and Todd’s stuff just jumped out at me so I went to his blog and oohh la la. Just the sort of thing I love. Creativity in abudance.  So definitely check him out and if you are a wedding photographer, check out Fearless as well.

And I did say Giveaway … this week it is a very cool and very new app for your iphone or ipad — a Portable Contract.

Basically it’s a perfect way for photographers to be able to have their clients sign photographers release, wedding contracts, etc.. right then and there. Not only that but it’s totally customizable for any kind of contract or formal agreement. Also available are contract templates for purchase.

To win it, all you gotta do is:

1.  “like” their facebook page.
2.   tell your friends about it by reposting this in either your fb status and your twitter:  “Win a Portable Contract app at @Let the Kids at https://letthekids.com this week.”

3.  Follow us on facebook or twitter so we can see your tag.

4. leave us a comment on the blog this week telling us you did these things and we will pick randomly.  If you do both fb and twitter you get double chances. Just saying…

I would love one of this bad boys. I am notorious for forgetting about the family session contracts til the very last minute.
