I love that you feature quality work that is focused on the people. That is what photography is all about, and yet I think it is forgotten sometimes in the industry. Your real approach is so refreshing.

You guys are the best! The blog is such a great source of inspiration and the ethos of the photography featured here matches my own. Great idea to serve as an aggregator for such talent. All the best in 2012!

  • Your blog is an amazing inspiration. I don’t comment much, but I love the posts that are just so REAL. It’s a constant reminder of what I strive for with my business….real people, real images, and classic memories. Thank you for reminding us of the important parts of our business!

  • I love your blog(s)!!! Even if I don’t win a free listing, I would love more info on being one of your favorite photographers… assuming that I can fit into that category. 😉 Thanks for all you do, ladies!!!

  • I adore this blog. The amazing inspiration, the awesome photographers featured, everything. I would love to win a spot, but either way I’ll be purchasing a spot on your new venture. Thanks for the giveaway!

This blog is SLAM FULL of inspiration…I’m not the most well-known photographer nor the best, but I love photographing people. In the new year I hope to shoot more “stories.” I want people to celebrate life through their photos! I know that this blog is all about that:) Thanks for everything that you share!

  • Jennifer says:

I just recently discovered your blog and was impressed by the talented photographers that you feature. I love looking though the images you feature. Capturing real emotion is what it’s all about. Love it! I know you all will blow up in 2012! Best wishes!!!

  • I was so happy to find your blog, it certainly is an endless source of inspiration for creative portraiture. I have discovered a handful of great photogs thanks to your Let the Kids and my only request for the next year is simply – keep up the good work! Keep showing us wonderful images taken by talented people all over the world; nothing more, nothing less. It doesn’t matter whether it’s digital or film, or whether the pictures are over or underprocessed; what matters is the stories they tell are real.

I myself have specialised in newborn photography but in 2012 hope to start a new adventure focused in honest family portraiture – so, wish me luck!

  • Christine says:

And for that, I am so very grateful. I love that you guys share a variety of photographers & their many different styles and subjects. Just keep doing what you’re doing!

  • because the work on here is real. its not about who can set up the best prop designed shoot. its just about people. their families. their lives. and its just a wonderful site with inspiring photography!

Looking forward to seeing some more awesome images in 2012 🙂 My goal is to be featured on your blog this coming year…hope I can make that happen! Happy New Year!

  • Patricia says:

Love that you promote capturing real moments–some times messy or blurry, but always sweetly magical. I smile every time I read your blog’s name.
Your support of film artists is so appreciated. I now bring a film camera to all my projects (contax aria or leica mp) along side my digital. The glass I have for those let me shape things in ways I love. I get braver using them without the safety net.
New blog and portfolio coming in my my new home of Boston.
    Happy New Year!!

  • I’ve already registered and paid for the listing so I don’t need a freebie, but I just wanted to say thanks for featuring me this year and thanks for featuring all the other really awesome photographers you do. It was an aim of mine to do a shoot which I thought was good enough for your site so the site has really pushed me to strive further. The work on here is inspiring.

My goal for this holiday season is submit an post to you guys but not it’s a New Year’s Resolution 🙂
