Lazy Saturdays…

Its hard to be different.  Its hard to be yourself as a teenager and young person.  This girl shines with her specialness though.

I choose this, because I love her look.  Her uniqueness.  Plus she is gorgeous and the photography is top rate. I adore these portraits.
Allison Corona shot these on a Mamiya M645 with an 80mm f/2.8 lens on Fuji Pro 400H and a Nikon F100 with a 50mm f/1.8 on Kodak TMAX 100. The film was developed and scanned by Richard Photo Lab.

  • Thank you so much for sharing my work. I love this blog! It’s a privilege to be featured.

  • This is really nice post! I love the fact that you start by saying it is hard to be different and to be yourself as a young person .. I get so high and happy when I see people who dare to be themselves and different, no matter what other people say or think. I am photographer myself and love to photograph these strong individuals and I think it is so important to share this kind of photos to inspire others to follow their believes and dreams!! and to Allison thank YOU so much for sharing YOUR work .. So thumbs up to Lets the Kids Dress Themselves, to Allison and to the girl on the picture (could find her name?). Xx
