Technique Thursday — The Band Photo

The band photo.  And no, it doesn’t have to be a band.  What fun can be had posing a family or silbings or a wedding party in the classic “band photo” style.

Let’s see how they do it:

That is a fun way to pose a group for a little something different.  Thanks for hanging with us today.

Let Them Be Young and In LOVE -Cherish Bryck

Cherish Bryck sent us this wonderful and creative engagement session.  The couple looks so in love and carefree and young and REAL. I couldn’t resist.

“The couple, Kristin and Mathieu came up with the location and we all had fun playing in the countryside.  These two radiate love and it was such a pleasure to capture this special time in their lives as they get ready to tie the knot at the end of August in Whistler, BC.  The location was superb and we got to enjoy the golden hour inside the abandoned dairy farm and out in the grassy countryside.  Kristin and Mathieu have an easy chemistry and they were extremely easy to work with for this session.  I can’t wait to capture their wedding day.
I used my Canon 5D Mark II with a combination of lenses.  Mainly my 85mm 1.8, 50mm 1.4 and 24-105mm F4.”
