I ADORE newborn images shot on film…..this session from Elaine Palladino is so sweet, and so simple. There is a timeless quality to them that I love, and kudos to Elaine for convincing the parents to be included. It’s just so important to have images that show that newborn/parent connection.
From Elaine~
My philosophy on newborn sessions is to keep things simple. I want everything as natural as possible and focused on the little things that make babies so delicious. It is such a peaceful time in a family’s life and I want to capture some of that peace–a mom feeding her newborn, the tiny baby in the daddy’s arms. This is Suraya at one week. Her parent’s weren’t keen on having their photos taken considering that they were sleep deprived and still in their pajamas. I convinced them though and managed to snap a few. I knew that these would eventually become their favorites.
